Arrow is a Christian-owned, values-driven business. We started Arrow in 2006 with the goal of helping Hong Kong families find and keep good helpers AND to help Filipino applicants find and keep a good job. We believe that a good job is the foundation and first step on the road to financial stability.
We have lived in Hong Kong for more than 20 years, have 2 daughters, 1 grandson and a cat. Ione is in charge of finances at Arrow and works with Western clients. Allan is the general manager and sets the direction for our services. We love animals, especially horses (Ione), coffee, technology (Allan), and serving people.
Our Philippines Team is lead by our Philippines Arrow Representative, Nely Reclusado and her assistant, Rowena Abalos. Alex Cabrera is in charge of logistics and is their chief technology technician. They advise and help our customers as they interview potential helpers. Our applicants train at the Rose Princess Training Center in Cabuyao, Laguna. We are also assisted in the Philippines by volunteers from Capitol City Baptist Church and JIL, Calamba.
We work together to serve our customers, doing whatever it takes, but we also each have a core focus: Dina is our liaison with the Philippines Consulate and Immigration; Swannie helps customers by recommending suitable applicants, arranging interviews, etc.; Kathy focuses on education and coaching for both employers and helpers; and Flora does most of our logistics and communication: arranging tickets, deliveries to homes, etc.
Pastor Ruel and Beth have 2 daughters, Zai and Ella. They are our clergy couple and minister to the emotional and spiritual needs of OFWs. In addition, Pastor Ruel often picks up new arrivals from the airport, takes them for IDs, medicals, etc. and even escorts them to the homes of our customers.
