All men are equal and deserve to be treated with fairness and dignity. We treat both Filipinos and Hong Kong people as our valued clients. We want to attract employers who will also insist on treating their employees with fairness and dignity.
Respect: We show respect to our clients (both Filipino and HK) and expect them to treat us with respect also. We respect God, others and ourselves. We don't mind some calling us "Servants" because Jesus himself came "not to be serve but to serve."
Responsibility: We take responsibility for our attitudes, actions and even our emotions. When we make a mistake, we admit it and make amends. We don't cover our mistakes or make excuses, instead we make things right. We also "own" our emotions. Noone makes me "angry" or "sad". My emotions and behavior are not under the control of others, I can choose my attitude, and by taking the right action, I can change my emotions.
Open Communication: At Arrow we say "Don't tell the client what they want to hear, tell them the truth." The HK client sometimes wants to hear "she cooks Chinese food, like a tea house chef" or "her Cantonese is fluent", but the truth might be "she is a beginner cook and can count to 10 in Cantonese." We will tell you the truth. Sometimes we get our facts mixed up or give someone a higher or lower recommendation than they deserve. These mistakes are not intentional. We will do our best to communicate frequently, honestly and openly.
Work with heart and mind. We love to serve people and we do so with our whole heart. We also strive to be excellent, to do things in a competent and effective way.
