FAQ > Hiring a helper > How long does it take to hire a helper from the Philippines?

On average it takes 8-9 weeks from the time you sign the contract until your helper arrives in Hong Kong. After you sign the contract, we immediately take the contract to the Philippines Consulate for approval. This takes 1 week. On the same day the contract is released, we take your application to the HK Immigration Department. HK Immigration takes 4-6 weeks to issue a visa. Once the visa is issued, we usually pick it up the same day and express it to Manila. The helper then receives her final clearance and an air ticket is issued.
We are careful in our preparation of all of your paperwork, and rarely experience delays in processing.
