She has never had a job and has only worked from home. At home, she is responsible for cleaning, taking care of the children, cooking, washing clothes, etc. Her family has a dog so she is familiar with taking care of them. Geraldine Manzano is a 31 years old from Cavite. She is married with 4 children: 3 girls and 1 boy aged 13, 11, 6, and 4 years old.

While in HK, her husband and mother will be caring for her children. Geraldine wants to come to Hong Kong so she can provide a better education for her children.

She is a high school graduate and also completed 3 months of culinary school. She has good English.

From 1997-98, Geraldine was a live-in housemaid in the Philippines for a Filipino family with (2 children aged 4 & 2). Her duties included included giving the children baths, giving them vitamins, doing the washing, cleaning, and cooking. She got married in 1998 and subsequently left her job. Since 2001, she has run a small convenience store out of her home.

Her duties included cooking, cleaning, marketing, and looking after the 2 children (5, 6 yrs). After her employer broke the contract, she decided to return to the Philippines to spend time with her son, but wants to come back to HK because the job market in the Philippines is very difficult. 

She worked in HK from 2008-2010 and finished her contract. Her employer was an elderly woman and her duties included massage, administering insulin, blood tests, cooking, cleaning, and washing. She can also prepare simple Chinese cooking. Previously, she worked as a company messenger and in a factory.
