First, we take time to know YOU
In order to find the right person to serve you and your family, we listen carefully. Our goal is to understand your family's needs and expectations.
Secondly we Screen and Train our Applicants
We don't make "blind placements". If we don't know an applicant or have a trustworthy reference for them, we won't recommend them to you.
We train every applicant. Our training is conducted in a licensed training institute in the Philippines. The management and staff love to host our training, because our applicants clean everything: air conditions, bathrooms, fans, wash windows and cars. In addition, they learn some basic Chinese cooking, are trained how to operate modern appliances, learn a little basic Cantonese, hear talks about adjusting to Hong Kong life and culture. We have added an intensive module on infant care, and every trainee is given a chance to practice what they learn. Local leaders and representatives from the Development Bank of the Philippines give them talks on how to protect their marriages and manage their finances. One of our trainees said "I'm so amazed, Arrow really cares about us." We train them well, because we want them to succeed and to serve you well.
Finally, We Follow up After Placement
For each placement we provide weekly follow-ups for the first month to ensure that major concerns and issues are addressed at the beginning. With your permission we call the helper to see how she is adjusting. Culture shock and lonliness are big struggles for Filipinos coming to Hong Kong for the first time. We know helpers who went to great expense and trouble to come to Hong Kong, and then, a few weeks later, suddenly quit and went home to the Philippines. They weren't prepared for culture shock and they didn't have an adequate support system to help them adjust.
We also follow up with employers. We want to hear from you how your helper is doing. If there are areas where they need more training or counselling, we will do our best to help them. Our goal is to make your life smoother and less complicated. Losing a helper and going through the hiring process ONE MORE TIME is the last thing you need!
