We have finished 2 weeks of orientation and scores have been posted.  Because we are beginning to serve more ex-pat families, as well as HK Chinese families, we have changed "Chinese cooking" to  simply "cooking".  Unless a trainee is ex-Hong Kong, they will NOT know many Chinese dishes, but a good cook will learn more quickly than a lady who rarely cooks.  We can still arrange web-cam interviews, and our Arrow ladies have already started registering their own Skype accounts. If they can do it, so can you!  We've included a tutorial (below) on how to install & use Skype. If this is your first time contacting Arrow, please complete the questionnaire on the website, and we will automatically give you a 10% discount. .

Rubelyn Santiago is a 23 year single lady (4/4). She lives with her parents. She wants to come to HK to help her parents. 

Rubelyn is a licensed mid-wife, having completed a 2 year mid-wifery course in 2005. She speaks English well (8.6)

For the last 7 months she has worked full-time as a volunteer with Rural Health Unit (a government agency). She is responsible to vaccinate newborns and children, assisting the doctor during childbirths, home visits, coaching new mothers. From Nov 2005 until present she also worked as housemaid for your sister. She did all the household chores, marketing and cooking, and cared for her 3 children (11, 7 & 4mos.)

Rosa Miranda is a 36 y.o. single mother of two children (18,14). Her husband left the family after the birth of their 2nd child. Her children are cared for by her mother and sis-in-law when Rosa is working overseas. She wants to come to HK to provide a good education for her children. Her son is in his 2nd year of college. Rosa is a Christian and attended a Pentecostal Missionary Church in Taiwan. She seldom had a day off, so in the 5 years she was only able to attend church 3 times.

Rosa is a college graduate with a BS in Accounting from Wesleyan University of the Philippines (1993). She speaks English well (9.0) and some Mandarin.

Rosa worked as caregiver for an older woman in Taiwan from Dec 2004 until Nov 2009. She only worked 6 months for her first employer, but she passed away from cancer, so Rosa took employment as a companion for an elder woman. her duties included assisting her to shower, feeding her, taking her for walks, cleaning the house, preparing meals for her husband and their grown children. From 1995-2005 she worked as a midwife for Rural Health Union, administering vaccinations to children, assisting in childbirth, coaching new parents, etc. 

Gina Collao is a 33 year married mother of 3 kids (11,9,6). Her husband, mother and sister will care for the kids when Gina is in HK working. She wants to come to HK to provide capital for their business, a fruit stand.

Gina is a college graduate with a BA in Business Administration (major in management). She speaks English well 8.85.

She is currently working as a clerical aid in the Mayor's office for the municipality of Juban, Sorsogon (/22007 to present). Prior to that she worked as a service girl in a fast food company (1996-1998). She was in college at the time.

Irene Aujero is a 38 y.o. single woman (7/7). She lives with brother in the city.

She has completed one year of college studies (Medical Technology), but could not finish due to lack of money. She speaks English well (8.7)

Irene worked as a domestic helper in Damascus, Syria for a family with 4 children.  Although she was treated poorly, she worked for a full year and a half, before resigning, and returning to the Philippines. She wants to come to HK because she knows that employers in HK treat their workers with fairness & dignity. She is looking forward to having an Arrow employer.

Irene doesn't seem to have any "black shadows" or hang ups, caused by her experience in Syria. She is a happy, positive and cheerful lady.

Analyn Ramos is a 25 year old single woman (5/5) who lives with her parents. She wants to come to HK to support her parents, and to earn money for herself.

She has completed 3 years of college (Business Administration and Computer Management). She speaks English well. (8.7)

From Nov 2008 til April 2009 she worked for a remittance company in the Philippines. From May 6, 2006 til Dec 14, 2007 she worked as a factory worker, quality control inspector, in Taiwan for Chimie Opto Electronics. She can speak a little Mandarin. From Feb 2002 until April 2004 she cared for her brother's newborn child, while her brother and his wife went away to the city to work.

Carmen Quindara is a 50 year old married mother of 3 grown children, and 2 grandkids. She is a Christian (since 1985) and is a member of the Methodist Church. She wants to come to HK to provide money for her retirement.

She is a high school graduate who speaks English well (9).

Carmen currently works as a part-time janitor (12 p.m. to 5 p.m. daily) for the Christian Academy of Baguio (1997 - present).  Her duties are to clean the school, pay utility bills, and purchase office supplies.  In addition to working at the school, she also worked as a part-time housemaid (8 a.m. to 12 p.m) for Rev. and Mrs. Carroll (1997 to 2003). Her duties included marketing, cleaning, laundry, and cooking. She knows how to cook some Western foods, including homemade tortilla chips, because the Carrols love Mexican food.. When Mrs. Carroll gave birth to her children, Carmen helped care for the newborn infants. Mrs. Carroll was the main caregiver, but Carmen also helped in every aspect of newborn care.

From 1991-1997 she worked as a janitor for Campus Crusade for Christ, cleaning their offices.

Madelyn is a 33 year old single woman (4/5) who lives with her parents. She wants to come to HK to support her mother and father.

After high school she completed a 2 year secretarial course. She speaks English pretty well (8.5)

From Jan 2003 until Mar 2009 she worked as a quality control officer for a Japanese company producing fishing tackle. She quit due to poor salary.
